FIX YOUR THOUGHTS ON HIM

November 21, 2014 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Isaiah26:3 You will keep in perfect peace

all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! NLT

I have had the privilege of counselling people whose minds lack stability and peace. Sometimes, they are confused, bitter or angry about their situation. Their life lacks beauty and energy because they live perpetually in frustration. I have come to a conclusion that people who have such issues have internal problem with their thoughts.

If that describes you, then your problem is a function of what is within and not without. IT TAKES A THOUGHT TO HEAL A THOUGHT. When you fix your thoughts properly on the right thing, you're bound to experience peace. People become gloomy, sad and depressed because their thoughts aren't fixed on God.

God is committed to making your life experience all-round peace if only you can fix your thoughts on him. You fix your thoughts on God by fixing your gaze continually on God's word. Don't think about the stuffs you hear in the news or read in dailies, there's no peace for you outside God's word.

Action point

CONFESSION: I walk in all-round peace today In Jesus name. No more depression and sadness.
