Prov4:23- Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.
I was in the bus one day&a man that isn't a christian began to teach on marriage, he gave certain ideas that are totally contrary to the teachings of the bible. He said, If a lady has been jilted twice, don't marry her, insinuating that you may not succeed if you marry her.
The issues of life talks about the various aspects of what we face in life, this includes our relationships with God&humans, career, ministry&everything that pertains to life in general.
The state of your heart is a determinant of what would become the kind of results you will achieve in different spheres of your life. Don't program your heart wrongly for marriage,family etc.
God's word says you must guard what goes into your heart to prevent a negative outcome later.
Father, I receive grace to mount guard over my heart In Jesus Name.
