Vs22-I love God's law with all my heart.(23)But there is another POWER within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me(NLT).
There isn't any man on earth that doesn't know the right thing to do except if he has a dead conscience, but you know that there are times we want to do good but we just couldn't because we are overpowered by a desire for evil at that moment.
Apostle Paul had his own fair share of this kind of struggle not until he found the way out. From the rendition above, there was a power, an unseen force within Paul that empowered the flesh to do evil.
This is the reason why many would do something shameless, feel remorseful about it, cry&make resolutions but return to their vomit after, controlling powers are behind it.
There are unseen forces that collaborate with the flesh to make us mess up. The victory lies in starving the flesh&dealing with these controlling powers. That's how we can reign in righteousness. Halleluyah!!!
