I'm in love with a worship leader that turns me on without struggle. His song titled 'You said' is a reminder of my assignment&i feel like going all out for Jesus whenever I listen to that song. A strong anointing comes upon me whenever I listen to 'fresh fire let it fall' from thesame man.
Elisha was upset&couldnt hear God, he had to send for a minstrel(2kgs3:14-15), when Saul was vexed with a demon, it took a Spirit-inspired David to cast that demon out through the instrumentality of music (1Sam16:23). Spirit-inspired music can bring about healing, restoration, deliverance&breakthrough.
Certain songs are meant to exercise the body, though the lyrics are pure, some minister to the soul while some minister to the Spirit. I believe the minstrel that played for Elisha ministered to his spirit because that's where he could connect with God(God is Spirit) while David's music ministered to Saul's vexed soul.
