2Cor9:6-...If you give little, you will get little. A farmer who plants just a few seeds will get only a small crop, but if he plants much, he will reap much.(TLB)
The teaching about giving is an aspect of the gospel that many do not want to hear because they see all preachers as money-mongers but I believe in the finality of scriptures about giving not in what people say or feel&I believe in giving to God as an act of worship that must be done scripturally.
If we examine the scripture above, it is simply what it says without mincing words. If you give little, you will get little, a farmer that planted a bowl-full of seeds shouldn't expect thesame harvest like his counterpart that planted a trailer-full of seeds under normal circumstance.
There are givers that don't receive as much as expected because they haven't given as much as required. God is not a partial God, everything in nature has been programmed on the law of sowing&reaping.
Don't be a stingy giver, give generously, you cannot out-give God, there's nothing Iike I have over-given to God's work, let me put a stop to it. When you give to God, the poor and to those in need, it is not for God's benefit, it is for your benefit. He owns the earth&the fullness in it.
