There's a misconception we have about worship in church, we most time think it is a slow song. There are even times, we say let's us worship and when we're through, the moderator will say ' In Jesus name we worship'. That's a gross lack of understanding about what worship truly is.
Worship simply means reverence for God. That means, worship is more of a life style that honours God rather than a song. Matt Redman in his composition further explained this point by saying 'I'll bring you more than a song' in heart of worship. God is expecting us to live a life of worship 24/7, it is more than music, though it part of it.
I have seen gospel musicians that would tell you they're worshippers because they can sing, what about those that can't sing? We're enjoined to do all we do as unto the Lord, and when we do that, worship has happened.
Everything you do that is pleasing to God is an act of worship, walk with this mentality today, and you'll touch the Father's heart.
