A revered minister of the gospel shared his encounter with a prophet who told him that he has the potential to be bigger and better in ministry. He told him there is a mountain where he normally pray.  He instructed that whenever he gets to that mountain, he should bath in a river and that will be the end of his stagnation in ministry. He said that was his best kept secret which he has never tood anyone.

This minister of the gospel pondered on this prophet's instructions. The Holy Spirit referred him to the story of the man at the pool of bethesda. He pointed to him that when the man beside the pool of Bethesda met Jesus, he did not need to bath in the river.

His encounter with Christ solved his problem. He got the message the Holy Spirit was passing across. He closed the chapter on that prophet's instruction. Jesus is enough.

Dearest, I want to tell you that Jesus is enough. You don't need to add anything to the name of Jesus Christ. Truly, when that man at the pool met Jesus, he did not need that pool again. Why? Jesus is the embodiment of all he needed.

The bible says, "For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body" ( Colossians 2:9). All you'll ever need as a solution to any challenge is already IN CHRIST not in oil, water, powder, river bathing, etc.

The good thing is that you are IN CHRIST. The bible says, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" ( 2 Cor 5:17). The Christ who carries all the fullness of God now lives in you. Glory!!!

All you need do is to release the power In Christ through the name of Jesus. That's how it works, faith in Jesus released through our mouth not in rituals.

Philippians 2:9-10 says, "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [10] THAT AT THE NAME OF JESUS EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth"(KJV Emphasis mine).

Why should you engage in meaningless rituals when the superiority of Jesus' name is available for use? Whatever you cannot get through Christ that lives in you, you will not get it through rituals of men.

The rituals of men is not far from syncretism and sin. That is why some do sex deliverance today and all manners of immoral things men do.

Beware of what takes the shine off Christ. The sacrifice of Christ is enough for me.
