Matthew 19:6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.
MARITAL CRISIS(B)
I know a woman that is very impatient and intolerant. She married a very gentle man. I know the man to be very gentle because of my closeness to him. Eventually, when they got married, this woman made life unbearable for this man. She hates to see her in-laws and doesn't want to associate with them. She's not accommodating as well. She believed there's a demon behind her constant quarrels with her husband and her in-laws. She changed church severally probably in a search for where 'hot prayers' are offered.
One of the things i observed about troubled marriages is that sometimes the persons in marriage have areas of their lives that they have not allowed God to deal with properly and they carried that character flaw into their marriage. What is causing problems in some homes are not demons as some people make it look especially believers who see demons in everything. One of the ways to prepare for a peaceful marriage as a single is to allow God's word and His Spirit change you from inside out. It is easy to predict those that would be a pain in the neck of their spouses by observing their character and attitude.
If you find it hard to forgive, you may live in perpetual unforgiveness in marriage. Why? Your spouse would offend you in one way or the other. Those that beat their wives/ husbands are simply those that have not built self control and subdued anger over time. I tell singles often, don't marry someone that lacks control on his temper, on food and sex. If these things spirals out of control in marriage, regret is inevitable. If you're in a troubled marriage and you've seen yourself as the one in need of character change, i recommend prayer and a large dose of God's word to you so that your mind can be renewed. You also need to be accountable to a spiritual father.
Holy Spirit, work on me and transform me from within In Jesus name.
