1Sam30:8 and David inquired of the Lord , “Shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?” “Pursue them,” he answered. “You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue.” NIV
A preacher in the U.S. was instructed by the Lord to buy a piece of land. He was reluctant about it but he bought the land eventually. Not long after, oil was discovered on that land. The implication is that he'll get paid heavily because of the crude oil found there. He made a huge fortune from that land. If he had been struggling financially for years, obedience to a divine instruction terminated that struggle in his life. David was mighty in strength yet the enemy raided his tent and that of his company.
What brought about recovery for himself and his company was divine direction. He inquired from God to know what ought to be done. Your pursuit will make sense if you're led by God. A lot will run the race of recovery as they have always done but will fail. The strategies of recovery is from God and not man. You need to be plugged to the flow of heaven's instruction per time.
Psalm32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. This is the promise of God to you. In the kingdom of God, we don't think somethings out, we hear them out. Strategies of spiritual warfare are not the same all the time but the principles are unchanging. In the battle for recovery, God may lead you to do something 'insignificant' from the human point of view. As you pray, ask the Lord for your own recovery strategy. He'll speak to you.
Father, reveal my recovery strategies to me in Jesus name.
