1Sam30:18 David recovered everything the Amalekites had taken, including his two wives.
This year has been topsy-turvy for so many folks. Even in developed nations with strong economies, there has been an outcry of pains, woes and death. Watching the t.v.during the heat of the pandemic, I saw despair and frustration written over the faces of people. In my part of the world, hunger and financial loss is the cry of many. So many lost their jobs, businesses crumbled and things fell apart in many homes.
A woman told me she lost millions due to the lock down. So many are beginning to look at next year for a fresh start. They have lost hope about the possibility of attaining their goals this year. I'm reminded of how the Amalekites plundered the camp of David. Valiant men lost host hope and were driven to the point of tears: "So David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep", 1 Samuel 30:4 NIV. Your case may be like that of David and his company who lost everything temporarily except their lives.
I am here as a merchant of hope today to tell you that recovery is possible. "For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease", Job14:7. What the enemy has stolen, plundered and forcefully taken from you shall be restored to you. The remaining days of this year shall be days of recovery. That's what I hear in my spirit. "Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours," Isaiah 61:7. This is the word of the Lord.
Father, I recover all the enemy has stolen from me since the year began and I receive double recovery for all my losses in Jesus name.
