PARTNER WITH WHAT YOU HAVE

September 13, 2014 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Luke5:3-And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

Jesus had lots of crowd gathered around him beside the lake of Gennesaret on that fateful day, he needed a platform to preach to them but he had none. He saw ships and entered into one of them which was Peter's, that was what Jesus used as a platform for his crusade that day. Prior to that time, Peter and his colleagues have tried to catch some fishes but they were unsuccessful.

When Jesus finished using their fishing boat, he instructed Peter to launch out into the deep and he had a great catch. The lesson in this message is simple, you have what God needs to expand his kingdom. Peter had a boat, yours could be your job, your money, your business or school.

You need to understand that there is nothing God is requesting from you that you don't have. If you want God to multiply what you have, you must act wisely like Peter, he didn't experience a net-breaking catch not until he partnered with Jesus when he released his boat.

You have what is needed to expand the frontiers of the gospel, give it. We live by giving.
