Matt5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
In this part of the world where I live, we experience power failure, sometimes you get into situation where power is interrupted late at night and all of a sudden, darkness becomes almost touchable. When there's darkness, there's dullness and everyone is bored.
Sometimes you may walk and stumble in the dark when you don't know your way round the house but when light is switched on, everyone rejoices and life returns. The world is in total darkness of sin, sickness and perversion, you are the light that will illuminate your world.
God's prescription is for us to show or manifest who we are, there's no room for hiding or compromise. You don't glorify God by maintaining the status quo of darkness. In your office, school, church and neighbourhood, switch on the light of love, purity, excellence&hardwork.
There's a mandate on you to light up your world, switch on the light.
Father, I receive grace to illuminate this dark world In Jesus Name.
