I've heard some Christians say 'we are all pastors', that is wrong and misleading. To my chagrin, some churches only ordain pastors neglecting other ministry gifts. God is still calling his children to be Apostles, prophets,evangelists&teachers.
The reason why God set the 5-fold ministry gifts in the church is to perfect all believers. It is not an office you can jump into because you're educated or outspoken, you must be called into it.
The ministry gifts are spiritual offices or functions given to those called by God, those who occupy such offices have a MINISTRY TO THE CHURCH. Though as believers, we all have a common ministry and our unique or individual ministry(assignment) given to us by God but God has called some people to occupy the offices listed above.
These ministry gifts have a specific calling to the church, there's a need for us to understand this, respect them and do the needful. Do your best to be part of a bible-believing church where you can benefit from these ministry gifts especially the pastoral ministry gift.
You need a pastor that will lead you to God's green pasture regularly, don't forsake the fellowship of the saints.
