Psalm 54:4-But God is my helper. The Lord is my defender. (GNT)
There are times in life when the challenges you are facing seem to overwhelm you, times when the enemies try to stop you from fulfilling destiny. That is the time to call on Jesus the HELPER and DEFENDER.
The LORD fought for Gideon. Logically, it is impossible for 300 men to defeat thousands of the enemy soldiers. But God fought the battle for them, without breaking a sweat, their enemies were destroyed.
In the same vain the Lord also defended the Israelites against pharaoh, their captor of 400 years, but when the time came, the Lord rescued them& the host of pharaoh drowned in the red sea.
Our God is the same yesterday and today and forever (Heb 13:8). The one that helped Gideon and defended the Israelites is still available today. But he can only help someone that He knows. Do you have a relationship with HIM?
Father, show yourself as my helper and defender in this new week&beyond in Jesus name.
