Psl 11:3- If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
Marrying for material gain, lust or for status is another very wrong foundation many're laying for marriage. Money has wings and can fly away any time, the bible said so.
The rich man today may be a gate man tomorrow and vice-versa, we're not praying for a reversal of fortune but being wealthy isn't good enough a reason to marry. Those days in school, we noticed that most ladies don't mind a guy with any type of car even beetles, as long as he has a car.
Your eye should be more on a man/woman's character, purpose&depth with God rather than material gain. A man that doesn't have television today but has a vision will someday put you on the televsision to be watched by others.
Brothers aren't left out too, don't be a gold digger always looking for ladies from wealthy homes with good jobs, what makes a good wife is more than those things. May God help us to deal with faulty foundations IJn.
Be sincere with yourself and ask why you're in that relationship, if it is for material gain, quit.
