Rom 8:29- For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
With God everything is well planned from the beginning of the times, even our salvation. We were saved from sin because God chose to have mercy on us as individuals.
But salvation does not end at the cross. The next level is to be reflectors of Christ's image, such that when people see us they will say that they have seen Jesus. The disciples were called Christians in Antioch because they lived Christ- like lives (Acts11:26).
For us to truly fulfill God's purpose on earth we need to become like Christ in our daily living. We have to seek to think like him, love like him, talk like him, walk like him, in short be the exact reflection of the person of Christ.
It is a popular saying that people no longer read their bibles, but they read the lives of those who claim to be believers. Live such an impeccable life that just looking at you, the gospel is preached.
Father let the world see Christ in my life in Jesus name.
