Dr D.K. Olukoya told the story of how witches fasted for over 200 days to scatter the homes of ministers in a particular country. The first major casualty of that evil plot was the pastor of one of the biggest churches in that country. His marriage scattered and married the friend of his wife.
Kenneth Hagin of blessed memory told the story of another pastor's wife who was deceived by a demon that she could use her beauty to make money as a model. Yea, she rebuked that demon but after sometime, the demon whispered the same words into her ears until she looked at herself in the mirror as a beautiful woman wasting away in a pastor's house. She left her husband and became a model.
The son of a very popular Christian leader in America committed suicide by shooting himself to death. He had Borderline Personality Disorder and major depression, according to his family.
CNN reported the incident that this Pastor's son died in a wave of despair. Another popular televangelist son shot himself in the heart and died. There are several stories of preacher's kid who died mysteriously or are wayward.
Negative happenings in the lives of preachers are not ordinary. Unfortunately, they make news headline faster than any other news from the religious world. It appears as though people are always hunting for bad news about preachers and their families.
As a preacher's kid, in moments of errors or mistakes, people are quick to point you to your root and they say it derogatorily like this: "And you call yourself a pastor's son.
I have been there as a preacher's kid. Such statements are demoralizing. He wonder why his father's work is brought into every statement people make about him. He seems not to have a normal life like others.
If you want to correct the child of your pastor, don't bring his father's ministry into it. Just correct him/ her like you would other kids. I hope you'll take this counsel.
The focus of this teaching is to point your attention to the prayer need of your spiritual leader. The devil is attacking homes of most ministers. He is doing it with all the strength he has because he wants to rubbish their ministries and calling.
Satan tries to make preacher's children wayward and break their homes. Doing this, he knows their ministry will likely crumble. He tries to find an in-road into their families to wreck havoc.
Don't wait till it happens to your pastor or that spiritual leader you respect. Pray for him. The devil may be planning worse for him. If all you do daily is to present the marriage and children of your pastor or that spiritual leader to God in prayers, you'll be doing a lot.
If that spiritual leader is still single, please intensify in your prayers so that he won't marry an agent of the devil. Marriage is very crucial to success in ministry except for ministers that have chosen to be celibate.
Some may argue against it but that's my opinion. This kind of teaching is for the mature not for those who are seeking to "use" spiritual leaders but for those who care about their lives and ministry.
Stop the gossip about us. Please, pray for us.
Father, protect the marriage of (....insert names) from breaking. Give him the wisdom on how to manage his home and rule his family. Lord, let your fear rule and reign in the hearts of his children and make them a godly examples in Jesus name.
