The late Reverend Ezekiel Atang recounted the tale of a lady whose boyfriend endeavoured to remove her eyes during an altercation. Miraculously, she eluded his grasp and many assumed their romantic liaison had terminated. Yet, before long they reunited, much to the astonishment of all who witnessed it.
One anecdote that has remained etched in my memory is the account of a young lady who confided in me about her abusive partner. Despite urging her to leave him, she opined that he only hit her out of love. Her words left me speechless.
What transpired in both narratives is the potency of soul ties - an unbreakable bond formed between two individuals through sexual intimacy.
What constitutes a soul tie? A soul tie denotes the intangible bond that links two or more individuals on a spiritual level, frequently established through sexual activity.
The Bible doesn’t use the word soul tie, but it speaks of souls being knit together, becoming one flesh, etc. Soul ties are not necessarily bad.
The bonds of the soul that exist between married partners attract them to one another like magnets. However, when it comes to those who engage in adultery and fornication, these same ties can lead a woman who has been mistreated and harmed by her partner to seek him out despite his lack of affection towards her and abusive treatment. In such cases, she may find herself inexplicably drawn to a man whom she would ordinarily despise and avoid at all costs in the natural world.
You might have seen something like this but do not understand what it is. This is where the danger of sexual immorality lies.
*When soul tie is formed on the on altar of sexual immorality, a single lady or brother will become blind to the killer flaws of his/ her partner only to realize how dangerous those flaws are in marriage." That's one of the reasons we preach against sex before marriage.
If soul tie is not broken between erstwhile lovers who are married to separate spouses, they can engage in extra marital affair with each other If given the opportunity. That's what some commonly call "sparking Old flames".
Ladies hardly break free from their first boy friend especially the man that deflowered them. That's why we teach total separation between people who were once sexually active.
In the demonic world, unholy soul ties can serve as bridges between two people to pass demonic garbage( curses, retrogression, sickness,etc) through. It is the means of demonic spirit transfer.
Many people have become demonized unknowingly through sex. They fight spiritual battles they inherited through sex. There are sexually transmitted demons. This is a deep spiritual truth many struggle to understand.
Soul tie is used by witches and those in the occult to manipulate their victims. As long as there is sexual intercourse between them and their victim, they take advantage of the soul tie formed to manipulate their victims. Illicit sex is a tool of witches to manipulate people.
Some men are under heavy manipulation from ladies they've slept with and their wives would be wondering what is wrong with their husbands.
I bring to you a message of deliverance. No matter how long the enemy has dealt with you through soul ties, Jesus can set you free.
"Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children."( Isaiah 49:24-25).
To be free, you need to renounce all ungodly relationship, sever ties, repent and engage in fervent prayers.
Father, I break every soul tie formed on the altar of sexual immorality in Jesus name. I receive total deliverance from the garbage brought into my life through soul ties.
