FOR HIS GLORY

I watched a film where the chief priest of the village incited demons against the whole village to cause strange death and sicknesses because the king accepted Christ into his life and abolished idolatry.

People began to die and strange things began to happen. The Chief priest wanted the people to come bowing down to his idols again so that Satan can be worshipped.

The story of the man born blind has been misconstrued by some to mean that God made the man blind so that He can take glory. Well, God took the glory for the restoration of his sight but it wasn't God who was responsible for his blindness.

We were told in Genesis 1:31 that when God looked upon all that he had created, they were very good. God couldn't have made him blind, it was the devil. He seeks to destroy all that God has made and to pervert it. He is behind the woes and pains of men today.

So why would God allow a miracle to take place where the devil has wrecked havoc? The answer is obvious. Anywhere the devil has taken glory through his dirty works of destruction, God may perform miracles to take the glory in such cases.

There are things that happen specifically so that his glory might be made manifest. The devil is creating problems all over the world, in some cases, he'll attack a community by allowing outbreak of diseases.

His plan is that at the end of the day, people in that community would seek help from him. That's how he takes the glory. Today, people are seeking for solution from Satan for the problems he created.

The devil is attacking you because he want you to compromise your faith and give him worship so that he can take the glory but God will not share his glory with any man.

The miraculous happens so that only Him can take the glory by providing solution. God takes the glory in your wellness not in your sickness and pain. He takes the glory in your restoration not in frustration.

Action point

Father, perform a great miracle in my life so that you can take the glory, in Jesus name.
