Psalms25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
Several years ago, I woke up to pray at night. After saying some words, I slept off. The Lord showed me a dream. In that dream, i saw the death of a female elder in my church. The night I had that dream was a Saturday night preceding Sunday. When I woke up from that dream, instead of praying against it, I slept. When we got to church in the morning, news came that the female elder God revealed to me at night died. I felt bad because God gave me the opportunity to avert her death in prayers but I failed in my responsibility as an intercessor. Whenever her husband (who is late now) stands to talk in church about how he missed his wife, I always feel a sharp emotional pain as though I killed her. I missed an opportunity to save a life.
God doesn't reveal things to us for fun. It is simply because He wants us to take action. The moment you fail to take action on divine revelation, God will look for another vessel who is yielded and responsible. God do replace people. Some have blocked the pathway of receiving revelations from God because on several occasions, God trusted them with information for immediate kingdom action but they neglected it. If God no longer show you deep secrets like before, check how you handled the previous secrets He shared with you.
There are things God will share with you for your knowledge only but for you to take private personal action. At other times, God expect you to share what He reveals to the brethren for corporate action. In all, you must be sensitive to know what ought to be done per time. God needs men who will pray out His will and establish His order in the scheme of things on earth. The moment you stand in the place of an intercessor for men, nations and institutions, God will open a pathway of receiving revelations for you so that you can pray out His will. When He does, do not block that pathway through laziness in the place of prayer and negligence.
Father, I receive the grace to take prompt action in the name of Jesus Christ.
