Philippians 4:3 Yes, I also ask you, my true partner, to help these women. They have worked hard with me to advance the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.
DEDICATION TO THE VISION&LOYALTY
Sometimes, I still wonder why Paul decided not to take John Mark along with him after Barnabas suggested he joined them in their apostolic journey. From my perspective, it could be that John Mark was not dedicated to the apostolic vision of Paul and Barnabas. Hence, he saw no need to take him along in their second missionary journey. John Mark left them at a point in their first missionary journey and I want to believe that the way and manner he left must have informed Paul's decision to drop him when their second missionary journey was about to start. Read Acts 15:36-41.
No pastor will take serious a disloyal member who is not committed to the vision God gave him. There are so many disloyal members in the body of Christ today. Their loyalty lies in churches where there are pecuniary gains like job, contract, palliative and marriage opportunities. Such people jump from church to church, programs to programs. Anywhere they hear it is happening, they jump ship immediately. They can tag their friends the advert of a program by another minister that is happening in town but not their pastor's program. They divert the offerings that should have helped the progress of their church elsewhere yet needs abound where they're fed with God's word. The day their pastor's sermon is wonderful, they feel alright with his ministry but the day they feel he didn't dish out "rhema" or may be anointing didn't flow, they'll start comparing him with another preacher out there. You should pitch your tent in a church/ ministry under a pastor by revelation and conviction. This way, you won't be a victim of ministry/ church prostitution.
There are associate ministers who can't take pain to build and run with the vision of their senior pastor. They're always on the look out for a church that will pay more or a church/ ministry that is well established where they won't have to stress themselves building from the scratch. They despise days of little beginnings. As a setman, feel free to let go a disloyal associate that is not committed to your vision. Whoever is not ready to help you build according to the pattern God gave you is not meant to be around you. Apostle John had such disloyal associate around him, Diotrephes by name, 3 John1-9-10. Don't be that disloyal member or ministry associate. Nothing you do will go unrewarded.
Father, I receive the grace to be loyal and dedicated to the ministry vision of my leader in Jesus name.
