YOU NEED TO TEST FOR SEXUAL COMPATIBILITY BEFORE MARRIAGE
A man was counseling a single over the phone sometimes ago. He told his counselee to check his life's progress during the period of sexual activity with his fiancée to determine if he would marry her or not. If he makes progress in his business and other endeavours, then he has found a wife. I never knew people use premarital sex to determine life's progress as a basis for making marital choice not until that time. Several times, I've heard and read some counselors saying nothing is bad with premarital sex as long as marriage is in-view.
What some are after is just to check sexual compatibility before marriage. This is one of the reasons why we have so many broken relationships. Unserious guys have hoodwinked some ladies to think sex is an expression of love. The moment they lick the honey, they quit. Dear sister, how many guys will you sleep with before they find you sexually compatible? The earlier you know that marriage is not all about sex, the better for you. The word of God says, "For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour",1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 KJV.
Premarital sex is not fun, it is a sin before God. If any man cannot wait till you're legally married, he is not for you. Don't be afraid to lose a brother/ sister that lack self control in sexual matters. If such person quits on the ground of not being able to wait till you're married, God has saved you from a potential adulterer. The ability to delay gratification is a sign of maturity. You need to marry someone you can trust even when you're not available for sex. No serious married man/ woman is available for sex at all times except they're jobless. Talking about sexual immorality, the writer of Hebrews liken sexually immoral people to Esau: "See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son", Heb12:16. On the altar of premarital sex, destinies have been wasted and birthrights sold out. Do this when tempted: "Run from sexual sin!...", 1Cor 6:18, NLT.
Father, purify my heaert. I receive grace to run from sexual immorality in Jesus name. Amen
