James1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord KJV
My dad told the story about a couple trusting God for the fruit of the womb many years ago. After they were prayed for, they took a step of faith, went to the market to buy baby stuffs. Months after, the woman took in and gave birth.
Some may say ' but I've been acting out my faith but no result'. I would refer you to the story of father Abraham, he exercised faith for 25 solid years without wavering. It was until after then he got the promise child. Faith works with patience, it is not a magic wand, Heb6:12.
Unbelief is the principal enemy of your testimony. Satan is our arch enemy, I agree but the bible made it clear that he was defeated on the cross (Col2:14-15). In fact, our spiritual position in Christ is far above the devil's( Eph1:6).
The devil is no longer a major hindering factor in the battle for our testimony but unbelief. It may be impossible to enjoy the benefits that accrues to the new creation if unbelief is not dealt with.
If you find it hard to believe God's word, it would be impossible to share a faith testimony and ultimately impossible to see the manifestation of your testimony. The enemy of your testimony is unbelief.
Unbelief would preach the opposite of God's word to your mind, just cast the demon of unbelief out of your mind and stand on God's word without wavering. That's how to conquer.
- I cast out the demon of unbelief from my heart and I receive grace to stand on God's eternal word for a manifestation of my testimonies In Jesus name.
