I saw a poster one day insinuating that when the poor have nothing else to eat, they will turn to the rich and eat them up. I live in a country where we can say some highly-placed people are taking advantage of the poor to enrich their pocket.
Jesus said we'll always have the poor amongst us. As Christians, we ought to help the poor people around us because when a man is poor, he needs people that will properly represent God to him. An hungry man sees God better as a loving father when you give him food.
Don't join the band-wagon of those that sit on retirees pension, grants and emoluments. If they can't fight you, God's word said their maker will fight for them. What are you doing to put a smile on the face of poor people?
- When we go for our outreaches, we see communities where people are extremely poor&my heart bleeds, that's why we have those that partner with us in rendering help to such people, do something today.
