Eccl9:4-"But anyone who is alive in the world of the living has some hope; a live dog is better than a dead lion."
Danson J. was a frustrated man. He went to the bush to commit suicide because he had only one shirt&trouser, when he got to the place where he wanted to commit suicide, he pulled off his cloth so that he would die naked. Immediately after he did that, he saw a naked man that ran towards where he threw his clothes just to pick it.
The man told him he had been naked for years and hoping that someday he would get something to wear. Danson saw that his own condition was better than someone else. He concluded that if he can just put his hope in God, things would get better.
Many of us are just like Danson J.,we don't see those we are better than, we always think all the troubles of life are on us alone. God's word is telling you this morning that If there's life, there's hope. Nobody celebrates a dead lion, but a living dog is of domestic use.
-Your mates may have gotten a good job, married, built mansions and start living out their dreams but I know that if you put your hope in God, you shall shine. There is hope for me.(Say it to yourself).
