Eph6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
A VIRILE LIFE OF PRAYER
A virile life of prayer sets you on fire and makes you untouchable for demons. Sometimes, you may wonder why some believers come under persistent demonic oppression and have become victims of satanic influence. Most times, their prayer life is weak or non existent.
Consistency in the place of prayer sets us on fire and makes us flaming hot for the devil to touch. There's a dimension in God where your name will cause ripples in the waters of satanic kingdom. A man in contemporary church history called A.A.Allen operated in that dimension. He'll tell demon possessed folks saying, "I am A.A.Allen" and the demon in them will scream. Consistency in the place of prayer launched him there.
Jesus and Paul were known by demons having tormented them severally: "But one time when they tried it, the evil spirit replied, “I know Jesus, and I know Paul, but who are you?” Acts 19:15 NLT. Jesus' appearance made demons to feel uneasy (Matthew 8:28-34; Mark 5:1-20). They didn't get there by accident or by mere wishing. Their humanity was subsumed in divinity in the place of prayer. They walked in the power of heaven and tormented hell till it manifested physically. Until we take our prayer lives serious, demons will continue to have a field day in the affairs of our lives.
