WHAT JESUS SAID
Someone asked me a question about deliverance. She inquired to know why demons keep manifesting through the shame set people during deliverance sessions all the time. She had observed that same set of brethren always need deliverance or are the ones that roll on the floor and scream during every deliverance sessions. I have also seen the same thing happen over the years. I have seen people who had momentary relief from demonic oppression and later had a relapse. If you've been around for a while, you might have seen this too. Why is it so? Whose fault is it?
In Matthew 12:44-45, Jesus gave the answer: "When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation". This portion of scriptures is an answer to the question raised.
That you cast demons out yesterday doesn't mean they won't attempt to return at other times. If you open the door of your life, they'll enter. That's the point Jesus established in the scripture we read. God's power is potent to cast out demons and dislodge them from their hidden places. When the same set of people keep manifesting during deliverance sessions all the time, God is not at fault. There are certain things they must do and keep doing. The person being ministered to needs scriptural knowledge on how stay victorious over demons by exercising his believers authority. Knowledge (of the word&your new creation status) sustains your victory over demons more than any other thing. That's what will keep you from becoming a candidate of "deliverance meetings". God's intention for us is to become victorious over demons not to dread them.
