KNOW YOUR NEW CREATION STATUS(B)
A man decided to travel by sea to another country. He paid for the ticket of a ship that was sailing to the country he wanted to visit. The journey lasted for weeks. He traveled with snacks and bread he felt could sustain him through the journey. After a while, his bread became stale and he began to starve. He saw other passengers feasting and merrying in the ship. When he could no longer bear the starvation, he walked up to one of those who sat at the table to eat and begged for some food. The other man looked at him with amazement. He asked, "Did you pay for this trip"? He replied with a 'yes'. The man requested to see his ticket. He showed this co passenger his ticket. The man showed him where it was written that the payment for the trip covered feeding, medicals and other royalty treatment. For once, this man felt good but mixed with regret. He felt he had suffered ignorantly. The ticket was an all expense paid trip but he struggled to survive almost all through the journey.
That's the case with many believers today. They do not know the benefits that accrue to redemption. They have a new status that is celestial but they prefer to maintain their terrestrial status where devil and demons hold sway. In Col1:13, Apostle said, "For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son", NLT. Hallelujah!!! Did you read that? Redemption puts us in a new world. Formerly, we were with the devil, he was our king and master but the moment we gave our lives to Jesus, power changed hands and we moved to the kingdom of God's dear son. That's a superior kingdom. Hallelujah!!!
God didn't stop there. In Eph2:6, Paul said, "For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus",NLT. You are seated above while demons are beneath. Where you are is far from where they are. Regardless of the attacks you may have faced, this is the word of God and nothing can change it. If you start thinking in line with God's word and you approach demonic onslaughts with this word-based mentality, you'll surely be victorious. We are dealing with a defeated foe that is trying to recover from the wounds of the battle he lost.
CONFESSION: I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I have the nature of God in me. I've been translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of his dear son. I live in light and I'm full of light. Nothing shall by any means hurt me. I take authority over demons troubling my life and I send you parking in Jesus name.
