After all is said and done, I want to re introduce you to the amazing grace of God that is powerful to save any wretched sinner. The weight of guilt and burden of guilt might weigh heavily on you.
Hearing about restitution might leave you wondering and asking: "where do I start from"? A teaching of this nature is not to put a yoke or burden on you. Your past errors doesn't nullify your salvation one bit.
I said previously that restitution is not a cardinal doctrine of the new testament. At best, we can only call it a fruit of repentance. However, will everyone be able to restitute all errors in the past? Absolutely not.
If we are to do that, grace is no longer grace and the blood of Jesus Christ is nullified. Thanks be to God who has justified and washed us clean with the blood of Jesus Christ. Now we have peace with God.
Romans 5:1-2 says, "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: [2] by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God".
Let not your heart be troubled. Satan might be telling you all your past must be restituted like he told me through a brother years back. Don't give it a thought for one second. I thought about it until I became depressed. Sin weighed heavily on me till I burst out asking, "where do I start"?
Don't think about it for a seconds, simply plug into God's amazing grace that takes the burden of sin and guilt away from mankind and that gives man a fresh start. Christ has not come to add to yokes, he has come to give rest.
Matthew 11:28-30 says, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light".
Dearest, your sins and rough past is not stronger than the blood of Jesus.
"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace"( Eph1:7 KJV)
Come to the mercy seat; appeal to his grace.
