YOU NEED QUALITY RELATIONSHIP
Recently, I was chatting with a brother who was an executive in our fellowship back in the university. We have an alumni whatsapp group. I complained to him that a number of persons shunned the group.
He gave me several reasons why some chose not to belong. Some feel they don't need it. I remember telling him that deep seated pride and lack of understanding about the value of relationship is one of the reasons a number of persons closed their door on reuniting with old brethren.
I thank God for where I am today in life and ministry. It is by His power alone. However, God has packaged my progress and answer to my several prayers into quality relationships. Almost everything that is working for me is embedded in those relationships i've nurtured over time.
Most people failed to build quality relationships in previous years, that account for why they are where they are today. It is not prayerlessness nor laziness but lack of value for quality relationship.
You will not make progress in the new year until you realize that man is God's method of bringing answers to your numerous requests.
We need to learn how to build destiny relationships and move those relationships with us from one season of life to another. It is not wise to forget old friends because you've made new friends.
One skill you must acquire this year is how to build quality relationship with those that are relevant to your journey in life and how to retain them. You will always need quality relationships to leverage on in life.
Pastor Temiloluwa ola said: 'There is no pride in saying, "I do not have friends and I do not need friends". Even Jesus had friends. Friendship is key. When there was famine in Isaac's time, do you know what he leveraged on was a friendship established by Abraham with Abimelech at Gerar. So before you scream that Isaac sowed in the land and got a hundred fold, remember that there was also a solid relationship to leverage on'.
I have noticed that some miracles, breakthroughs and great opportunities are packaged inside quality relationship. The friend of yesterday that you abandoned may possess the key to the open doors you need today.
Your life is incomplete without a touch of quality relationship in it. Joseph built friendship in prison that translated later to an opening in the palace. Despite his prophetic dream, its fulfilment depended on a relationship.
Thank God for prophetic declaration and anointing, despite that, David couldn't be enthroned without leveraging on his relationship Jonathan.
- Don't discard quality relationships. Use your electronic gadget to stay in touch with friends even if you can't visit. It will pay off very soon.
