Matthew 5:16 - Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and GLORIFY(worship) your Father which is in heaven (KJV). Emphasis mine
From our scripture, the actual worship to God, the actual expression of love to God is living our lives to glorify, saying to the whole world that God is WORTHY – OF – LORDSHIP; that's WORSHIP. This include petty things like eating, talking, sleeping etc. If it doesn't glorify God, it is not worship.
All the things we do as believers are actually means of worshipping God not the worship itself. Under the Old Covenant, they would offer up sacrifices unto God in worship of Him.
The items of sacrifices were not the worship, they were just a means to an end- worship…that's why at certain times doves would be used in sacrificing and at other times whole lambs or bulls would be used as sacrifices.
It doesn't mean God fluctuates in value, that just establishes and buttresses the truth that all we do in the name of worship are just a means to an end and not the actual worship.
I choose to live constantly in worship henceforth In Jesus Name.
