Acts 3:2 ... Whom they laid at the gate daily at the gate of the temple which is called beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple.
In the world today there are two sets of people, those who make things happen and those who wait and watch things happen, this can be likened to the man sitting at the beautiful gate and those who go into the temple through the beautiful gate.
Those that sit at the gate, wait and watch things happen while those that go into the temple, make things happen.
All the man does was to sit and beg for arms from those going into the temple and the amazing thing is that, those who visits the temple regularly were able to give him what he needed rather than what he wanted.
The point here is that, it is only those who go into the "temple" that will be exposed to the secret things of the kingdom and be able to impact their world just like the apostles.
The question now is, where do you belong? Are you at the gate or in the temple?
Father, help me not to be at the gate, but in the temple, In Jesus Name.
