Ex12:35- And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiments.
The word 'borrow' doesn't convey the intended meaning in that verse, the root word 'borrow' from the Hebrew is to make demands and that was what the Israelite did, they didn't borrow. Egypt represents sin and the world. There's a glory that you have lost in sin and wordliness.
The Israelites have worked under task masters for years in Egypt with little or no payment, so when they were about leaving, God told them to make a demand of their wages or what is due them.
Now that you're born again and God has declared your liberation, make a demand for what belongs to you in prayers&
fasting. You have missed a lot to Egypt and Pharoah in time past when you weren't born again, find a time to seek God's face to demand your dues from Egypt.
