Here am not concern about "Personal assistant" but "Personal Altar". Your personal meeting place with God on daily basis to fellowship, pray, or study God's word extensively. Centuries before now it used to be a raised platform for worship and sacrifice but the new covenant brought along a new altar situated in the hearts of men.
This is different from what you may refer as morning devotion. As a matter of fact, morning devotion is a part of your personal altar.
A man of God said your personal altar is the place God gets personal with you as long as you make yourself available. It is like a tap root, the deeper it goes into the ground the stronger it gets on the outside.
Your personal altar serves as a source of strength and power. Show me a man who visits his altar daily and I will show you a man who is prosperous.
A man without an altar is a prey to the devil, even your marriage could hit the rock, if you don't have a solid altar.
