Ex4:13- But Moses said, "O Lord, please send someone else to do it." (14)- Then the LORD's anger burned against Moses...
God called Moses as an agent of Liberation but he rejected the call and requested that He sent someone else to do it. This sounds like the voice of many when they hear God giving them an assignment.
We mostly pray in our churches that God should not replace us in His end-time agenda yet when we sense God leading us the path of ministry, we quickly see our inadequacies and push the work over to those we see as able.
God got angry with Moses because he wanted his assignment to be re-assigned to another. It was mercy that got him stuck to that assignment and God provided Aaron to assist him. Not everyone will have the opportunity that Moses had.
Whenever you feel the burden of a assignment is too heavy on you, rather than reject, trust God to help you out and make assistance available.
Father, don't send someone else, use me for that noble purpose in your mind In Jesus name.
