I watched a Christian movie where a lady had series of miscarriages because her mother was in a covenant with her uncle and aunts never to have granchildren. That was their charm for longevity in that household. It is a real life story adapted to a movie.

This lady who had several miscarriages  met a woman of God who instructed her not to tell anyone about her pregancy. Another pregnancy came after that counsel but she went for a photoshoot with her friend who posted it on her whatsapp status. That was how she exposed herself again and she lost that pregnancy. When she obeyed, she had her babies.

Who could have thought that keeping sealed lips would save her from miscarriages? It is simple but potent. That simple instruction or strategy on how to win spiritual battles is what we call spiritual intelligence. Everyone of us need it.

There are many praying and fasting believers who have remained in the battle arena perpetually. The more they prayed, the stronger the battle becomes. They are not prayerless yet their battle persist. Their faith is strong but they have no result to show for it because they lack the needed intelligence on how to win the battles they are fighting.

When you have prayed and fasted about a longstanding battle, start asking the Lord for instruction or strategy on how to overcome. In some instances like that lady, you may have to keep sealed lips while in some cases, you may have to relocate from your environment.

For instance, in Matthew 2:13, God's angel instructed Joseph to take baby Jesus to Egypt because they were hunting after his life. Joseph did not argue with God saying, "If you are the omnipotent, why will you say I should run with the baby"?  Mr Joseph had enough spiritual intelligence to know that God's instruction was for the baby's preservation and a way to avoid needless battles.

Do you know that If Joseph had disobeyed that instruction, the baby might be a casualty of the killings that period?

Some are fighting needless battles because their spiritual intelligence quotient is so low. They don't know how to pick signals in the realm of the spirit. This is the reason we must live and walk in the Spirit always. The solution to some of our challenges lies in doing something the Spirit might be instructing we do.

Sometimes, just forgiving someone might close the door against a persistent battle in your life. That is spiritual intelligence you need for most battles.  I have seen a young boy who got healed from insanity simply because her step mum whom his own mum displaced in marriage forgave her mother and prayed for him. This is a story I know so well and the characters involved.

I was told about a couple trusting God for the fruit of the womb for over a decade and the only ground Satan held against them was because the woman kept a secret from her husband. Confession solved their problem and they started making babies. I imagined the fasting, prayer and several mountains they have climbed yet simple obedience was all they needed to have a child.

These things look simple especially when one consider the hours spent in the prayer room yet they are potent. Stop prolonging your battles, find out from God what he would have you do. Prayer of enquiry alone is an act of spiritual intelligence.
