Proverbs 13:20 Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble. NLT
Recently, I got into a conversation with some brethren. We discussed the meteoric rise of some ministers. One thing that stood out in our conversation was their association.
Some of them wouldn't have gotten to where they are If not for those men and women whom they associated with in their life's journey.
I told someone that there are people you relate with whose names will open some doors for you by reason of being in their clique. Also, one can be unfortunate in life by associating with some people.
In life, you cannot be who God wants you to be without the right association. No lone ranger goes far in life and destiny. However, not just any association but the right association.
*If you are going somewhere in life, don't associate with vain people*.
It is a misnomer to carry a great vision and be around men without vision. They will drag you back and halt your forward movement. In some instances, they make one's journey slow and tortuous.
The quality of counsel you receive is tied to your association. Rehoboam lost the kingdom by more than half because of the foolish counsel he received from his associates most of whom were his peers.
*Association attracts, association repels. Association build, association ruin.*
Those you follow in life determines what follows. It is not a sin to be selective when It comes to the choice of our association. The power of choice is about the greatest power God gave mankind. Use it well
Father, I receive the wisdom to choose the right association in Jesus name.
