Psalm 35:27 *Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant*
*GOD'S PROSPERITY SYSTEMS* (B)
God has set in place principles and systems of prosperity. Those who follow the laid down principles and key into the system will get result. That is why prosperity is not a doctrine because it has its own principles and systems. We shall examine some biblical systems God has put in place.
*1#.Righteous Labour/Work*
God doesn't bless empty hands and Idle people. In this kingdom, there is no substitute for work If you want God's blessings. The blessing of God is meant to fall on something your hands are doing as long as it is a righteous labour.
Deuteronomy 28:12 says, *"The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none*" (NIV)
As long as the work of your hands is a righteous one, you are qualified for God's blessings. If you see a fraud or someone into jobs that promotes unrighteousness swimming in wealth, you should know that God is not involved.
One of the dangers of prosperity gospel is that it doesn't empasize on work because it makes getting wealth look magical as long as people can give. Unfortunately, some have been giving but not getting the desired result because the element of profitable labour is missing.Prosperity without righteous work is fraud.
Where work is emphasized, righteous labour/work is not emphasized because the preachers of prosperity do not care where the money comes from. It is about money coming in regardless of the source from which it comes. God doesn't endorse or bless ventures that damage lives and destinies.
If you want God to bless you, find something righteous doing and stay committed to it. Don't look down on any job as belittling. One day, I saw a woman driving a mini bus known as "Korope". I told myself that there is no excuse for poverty. She could have considered her beauty and gender but she decided to fight poverty through work. God blesses such people.
Stop waiting for the "big" jobs to come. No labour is small or belittling. In our clime, we dignify some jobs and accord respect to those doing it yet when the same people travel abroad, they do those jobs they once despised in their home country. We need a change of mindset.
Back in the days, I knew a woman who started selling chin with her husband who had a masters degree. They had serious financial crisis so they resorted into making chin chin. From chin chin sales, they experienced a boom and built one of the biggest confectionary companies in their neighbourhood. They employed staff and distributed their products all over Nigeria. Who says God can't bless your work?
Proverbs 14:23 says, *All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty* (NIV).
Father, bless the work of my hands in the name of Jesus Christ.
