Job 42:5 *I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes*. NLT
When I started in ministry, most of my ideas were drawn from the revelation of others. I have read and listened to God's dealings with several ministers.
As a newbie in ministry, I adopted their revelations and God's dealings with them as though they were mine. I suffered for this until I discovered God deals with us individually based on the uniqueness of our assignment.
Some have listened to the testimonies of others and what they did that earned them a breakthrough or answer to prayers but nothing happened when they tried same. They thought If they do the same thing, testimonies will follow.
*Before you embark on a journey to Moriah like Abraham did, be sure you heard God or else you'll sacrifice your Isaac without an alternative provision. God only blesses what he commands*.
Some have become a casualty of another man's revelation and personal dealings thinking it applies to them. God does not operate like that.
That someone gave all his salary for three straight months and experienced a net breaking breakthrough does not mean everyone will experience the same result If they take the same action.
*In this kingdom, everything doesn't work with the same formula. God decides how he wants to deal with individuals*.
Some babes have injured their health while some even died because they heard about another minister who fasted for a whole year and became so anointed. They easily forget that when God is demanding such consecration from a man, he gives him grace for it. Why copy another person's consecration when you don't have the grace for it?
*In the kingdom, same action by different individuals may not yield the same result except If it is commanded by God*.
For the uniqueness of your assignment and purpose in life, God's dealings with you will be personal. Don't try to copy others.
