Psalm 35:27 *Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant*
*GOD'S PROSPERITY SYSTEMS* (C)
Dearest, God is interested in your total well being. As much as he doesn't want you to become covetous and greedy for gain, yet, he wants you to live well and fulfill your assignment here on earth. It takes resources to do that. It is extreme to say God does not bless his own.
While trying to counter the prosperity gospel, some veered into another extreme saying God doesn't bless. In the bible, there are several examples of people he blessed. You can check the first part of this teaching for references.
However, God set in motion principles and put systems in place for prosperity. It is not a magical thing. That is why I am painstakingly explaining the various systems.
*2# Creation of Value&Trading it*
All genuinely wealthy men have a value they have created that people are paying for. They have skills, services or products they monetized.
Do not look far, every time you pay for a product or service rendered to you, you are making the service providers/manufacturers richer. That is why every wealthy man is into one form of service provision or sales of products.
If you look at the wealthiest man in your country, one of his products is in your house or you'll discover that you have subscribed to one of his services. This is the same system all over the world. Those who add value by way of service provision or sales of important products are in the wealthy class in any economy.
In 2 Kings 4:1-7, I discovered this system of value creation and trade. A prophet's widow ran to Elisha for help because her husband's creditors came to take her sons as slaves.
Elisha told her to get jars as much as she could and then close the door behind her. Thereafter, she was instructed to pour oil in all the jars. She followed the prophet's instruction and all the jars were filled with oil. That was a miracle, isn't it? Yes it is but the miracle did not pay the debt until she did something.
In verse 7, Elisha said,*"...Go, SELL the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left*”.
The oil was a product. For her to come out of debt and live well, she had to sell the oil in exchange for money. Are you seeing a system there? Sales of products in exchange for money.
God could have rained money from heaven like manna but God doesn't produce money in heaven. What God did to her was to make her key into a system he has created for prosperity.
That system is still in place for everyone to key into. Yours might not be a product but there is a skill you have or can aquire that can be monetized. No one is without a "oil". It is my personal opinion that those who key into this system are qualified to ask for God's blessings.
Do not forget, God doesn't bless nothing. His blessings rest on something your hands are doing.
Father, bless the work of my hands in the name of Jesus Christ.
