Another lesson we must learn from what transpired between Job and his friends is how we present God to those that are hurting. There is a way you'll speak about God to the hurting that will make them hate God.

Wrong presentation about God is the reason some became atheists and agnostics. They convinced themselves against the idea of his existence because of life's troubles.

When God is presented as the source of evil and one who uses evil to tutor his children, we'll be creating a false image about God. That was what Job's friends did.

The privilege of being around those that are hurting is an opportunity to present God in a proper way to them so their faith can be strengthened and their spirit be revived.

God rebuked Job's friends for not speaking accurately about him. Just like the average Jews, they had a fatalistic view about God. Today, the story is not different in some quarters. When people fall sick, die untimely or experience evil, they blame it on God. The media call natural disasters "an act of God". That's a wrong accusation.

The bible says, "This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all"( 1 John 1:5). Darkness is symbolic of sin and the calamities it brings. The bible says such is not from God.

Wrong views about God weakens faith and makes fellowship dull and dry. The moment Satan knows your view about God is not aligned with what is revealed in the bible as interpreted accurately, he will deal with you accordingly and you'll find it hard to confront him in warfare.

Stop accepting nonsense from Satan. That sickness is not from God even if it runs in your bloodline. Just do what the bible says- resist him( James 4:7).
