Psl 11:3- If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
Anytime you go against the divine order of God on how things should be done, you have succeeded in laying a faulty foundation that will haunt you later IF not corrected.
You'll be laying or may have laid a faulty foundation for your marriage if you:
1-Engage in premarital sex-1Cor6:15
2-Marry an unbeliever(2Cor6:14
3-Marry without paying dowry
4-Marry with pregnancy or get pregnant before marriage
5-Have aborted before
6-Marry out of lust or for material gain.
7-Masturbate&engage in sexual perversion(incest,bestiality,oral sex,etc)
If the foundation you lay for your marriage is faulty, you may be part of the statistics of those with turbulent home or divorce. The alarming rate of divorce is a pointer to the fact that something is wrong somewhere that must be corrected.
No matter how bad the foundation of your marriage is, God can still correct it and He's willing to help you.
