THE MAKING OF A TRUE MINISTER(Pt 5)

August 18, 2013 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Isaiah45:13- I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, he shall let go my captives, NOT FOR PRICE NOR REWARD, saith the LORD of host.

NOT FOR MATERIAL GAIN

I have received invitations to preach and was asked what my charges were, I replied swiftly that I don't charge, I only accept what I'm given. You may say its because I'm not anointed enough but I didn't see Jesus do that in His earthly ministry, yet He lived in abundance.

It is the custom of some ministers today to give you a long list of what they want before they can accept your invite. Some may raise seed-offering&cart away with it. This is where many gifted preachers, singers&teachers have missed it today.

The principle of freely you have received&freely you shall give is lost amongst most ministers.

It is not a sin to collect honorarium neither is it a sin to be given a first class treatment but when you make demands, you have paid yourself and your heavenly reward is lost. God won't entrust into your hands true anointing if you're seeking material gains from those you want to bless.

Action point

Father, I choose to do ministry not for price nor reward In Jesus Name.
