1Jhn4:1-Beloved, believe not every spirit, but TRY the spirit whether they are of God...
Someone narrated a revelation to me recently about a woman that claimed to have seen Jesus, and He(Jesus) told her that whenever husband and wife are having sex, the HolySpirit will come out of them and stay away from them.This may have made some couples see sex within marriage as unholy.
Recently, there have been several revelations round town in books, CD's, DvD's and other media resources, some may be truly from the HolySpirit while others may just be the handiwork of familiar spirits to cause confusion.
The litmus test to know If these so called revelations are from God is to check if it conforms to God's word and His principles. Whatever message that leaves out the fundamentals of our faith which is salvation by grace isn't from God.
Some people are making a hell of money from the sales of magazines, tapes&books with unverifiable informations, BE CAREFUL, DON'T PATRONISE LIES.
