Hab2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry( KJV).
Kenneth E. Hagin of blessed memory was a man I loved so much because of his understanding about following God's perfect plan in life and ministry. It is not only faith I learnt from him. One of his secret was following God per time.
I read in an article that he didn't start his training school until he was around 57 years of age. He knew he would be training ministers in a school long before that time but he waited for the right time even though age seemed not on his side.
Moses thought his ministry as a deliverer would start at forty years of age not knowing he had another forty years to the commencement of that vision.
Sometimes, in-between when God revealed his plan to you and when you will start is the process of preparation. God knew Moses was too raw to lead at forty so God led him into the wilderness to prepare him for the real assignment.
God in His sovereignty sometimes can reveal what lies ahead but He may reveal it for our knowledge not for immediate action.
The opening scripture reveals a vital component of vision which is timing. In context, the opening scripture was talking about Christ.
The vision of Habakkuk was about the coming of Christ. We can learn a lesson or two about the nature of what God says or reveal to His children which is timing.
Launching a vision before the appropriate timing can ruin the vision faster than anything.
The men of Issachar were men who understood times and seasons(1Chron12:32). You must be sensitive to the timing God want you to launch out. Not every revelation is given for immediate action.
When God tells you or gives you a glimpse of the future, he want you to start preparing. When Jesus came to the world to save sinners, he didn't start on the day he was born, he waited for the appointed time before commencing.
Don't be too quick to act on every vision God gives you. Ask the Holy Spirit If such revelation or burden is for immediate action or for the future.
Father, I receive the grace to be sensitive to divine timing In Jesus name.
