I lead a prayer group where we pray in tongues every night for an hour. After each prayer session, we spend some minutes making bold declarations. I learnt a prayer secret about what is next after praying in the Spirit and that very secret is what we practice after praying in tongues.
You see, when you pray in tongues extensively, you generate power. You activate the anointing of God upon your life. However, what is the essence of generating power and not using it? Power is meant to be channeled in the right direction for our profiting.
I see a lot of persons who pray in tongues for hours but do not know how to maximize that moment. They generate spiritual energy but leave it unused.
1 Corinthians 14:4 (NLT) says, "A person who speaks in tongues is STRENGTHENED PERSONALLY...".
I want you to note the words in caps. Strength is meant for a purpose. Why generate so much personal strength and leave it unused?
After praying in tongues extensively, If you don't have an interpretation of the tongues spoken, you can go ahead and make declarations to change the situation you might be facing. Use your spiritual strength to change the bad narratives in your life.
After praying in tongues extensively, don't leave the prayer room without saying something about that problem. Don't beg that sickness or negative situation. Speak boldly against it and command it to leave your life. Put the power you have generated to use.
At that moment, your life will go in the direction of your declarations because a supernatural power is available to back it.
Every day of your life, spend quality time praying in the tongues and spend another quality making declarations in the direction of what you want to see in your life.
