JUSTIFIED TO BE GLORIFIED. Pt.6

Psalms 17:15 As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness. NKJV

NO LIMITATIONS IN GLORY

One day, I wanted to explain the concept of rapture to my boys and what will happen when the trumpet sounds. We were together in the living room watching cartoon when I saw one of the characters disappear and re appear in another location. From there, I started my teaching. I told them the day will come when we shall varnish into thin air and appear in heaven. There and then, the limitations on this body will no longer exist. In this current body, there are limitations. Apostle Paul said, "While we live in these earthly bodies, we groan and sigh, but it’s not that we want to die and get rid of these bodies that clothe us. Rather, we want to put on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life" (2Cor5:4).

A writer said, "Down here sin limits us; we are freed from its guilt and penalty, but we possess a fallen nature and we live in a fallen body which is subject to sin’s power and Satan’s attacks. Down here our bodies give us a great deal of trouble, and we experience weakness, sickness, pain and the infirmities of age, and ultimately death itself – Romans 8:23 tells us this." Apostle Paul says, "And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies he has promised us"(Romans 8:23 NLT).

In glory, there shall be no sickness, pain, tears or death: "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away"( Rev21:4). Reading the same book of Revelation further, Chapter 22:3 says, "No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him". After the fall of man, creation came under God's curse(Gen3:17-19). That brough a great limitation upon man. When we enter into glory, nothing shall be accursed.
