DON'T LET YOUR FEARS COME TRUE

August 20, 2014 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Job3:25 What I always feared has happened to me. What I dreaded has come true. NLT

John Piddy ,a wealthy man who was the richest in his days had a serious financial crisis that turned him to a beggar. When he was asked why things turned out for him that way, he simply said 'I made my fears come true'. To be realistic, we all have fears that comes to our minds occasionally.

Your fears are indicators of your belief-system. It is not a sin to have fear-attack in our minds but how we handle fear is what matters. Faith is the cure for fear and the surest way to make your fears a failure is to attack it with God's word. The more you grow in life, the greater the fear-attack on your mind. Don't admit it.

God's antidote to fear is faith built on God's solid word. Positive thinking&human psychology can't cure fear because fear is a spirit(2Tim1:7) and you need a higher spirit to conquer fear. In the face of fear, never let the word of God leave your heart&mouth.
