SEEK AND LIVE

August 30, 2014 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Amos5:4 For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.

In the town of Jagba, the king declared that everyone is prone to death except if they come daily to bow before a certain tree &eat the fruit of the tree, they won't live. The villagers rushed to the tree on daily basis some even lived just a few metres to the tree while others practically pitched their tent there because they don't want to die.

God is the secret of life. When you live in him, you will be sustained, when you live far from him, life is far from you. The life of God in man is the fore-taste of the life to come in eternity. The more we walk with God and get closer to him, the more that supernatural life oozes from him to us.

Do you want to be like God?Seek him and live. Death is knocking on the door of every facet of your life (spiritual, health, finances, marital etc), the more you seek, the more all facets of your life come alive. A life of peace&joy isn't accidental, it comes by a conscious effort of walking with God on a daily basis.

Remember, Enoch walked with God and he lives on, he didn't taste death because of the depth of his walk with God.

Action point
  • I receive grace to walk with God.
