Prov22: 24 Don't make friends with people who have hot, violent tempers.
When I was in high school, one of my class mate was very hot-tempered. She was asthmatic but flares up at almost everything such that associating with her became a problem. The scripture is offering you simple wisdom today not to associate yourself with hot-tempered people.
If the scripture is not recommending hot-tempered people to us as friends, how much more the choice of whom to marry.
If you are about to marry, don't marry an hot-tempered man or woman because when issues arise, hot-tempered people stretch issues beyond normal.
We all get angry once in a while at certain messes but our ability to control anger is a proof of maturity. There are people that live constantly in bitterness and anger. Their temper is always hot everytime, dissociate from such people.
